Before a discovery call, it helps to prepare a short description of the business problem, the current workflow, the teams involved, the systems already in use and what success would look like.
Useful details include number of users, number of branches or locations, current tools, pain points, payment channels, required reports, existing data sources, integrations, deadlines and any compliance requirements.
For product deployments, prepare current product lists, room lists, guest lists, rider lists, vendor lists, opening stock, rate plans, menus, staff roles or other operational data that will need to be imported.
For custom software or AI work, prepare sample documents, process examples, user roles, approval flows, reporting needs and any known constraints. This helps Exquode separate must-have requirements from later improvements.
